Here's a product description for that knife:

Francois Massyn – 3" Drop Point Flipper | RWL-34 | Mars Valley Inlay

Crafted by Francois Massyn, full-time knifemaker and long-standing member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa, this 3" drop point flipper represents the refined focus of a maker who has spent decades perfecting his craft on the coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

The blade is ground from RWL-34, a premium Swedish powder metallurgy stainless steel prized for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ability to take a superb hand-rubbed satin finish — hallmarks of Massyn's finished blades. The drop point geometry offers a versatile, practical profile that balances everyday carry usability with clean, purposeful lines.

Deployment is effortless courtesy of Massyn's signature IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot, a ball-bearing race that gives the blade an almost frictionless, one-handed flip that has become central to his identity as a maker. The linerlock mechanism provides a solid, reliable lockup once open.

The handle scales feature a striking Mars Valley FatCarbon inlay — a resin-infused composite material known for its vivid, layered patterning that ensures no two knives look exactly alike. Paired with anodized titanium liners, a carbon fiber backstrap, and a titanium pocket clip engraved with the maker's name, the build reflects the attention to detail and material selection that has earned Massyn a loyal following among collectors and users alike.

Handmade in Richards Bay, South Africa. One of a kind.
