Little Canuck — the one you'll reach for every time.
The Little Canuck is Christian Lishen's most versatile fixed blade — a drop point built on the bones of the great Canadian belt knife tradition, refined with the precision and finish that collectors have come to expect from the Bristol, Virginia workshop.
It's the size that earns this knife its reputation. At 7.5″ overall and just 3.67 oz, the Little Canuck rides on your belt without ever reminding you it's there — until you need it. Then it's exactly where it should be, with a blade geometry that handles everything from field dressing a deer to breaking down camp meals without breaking a sweat.
Outdoor Life called it one of the elite slicers they tested — 0.09″ AEB-L stock on a saber grind that cuts with the confidence of a kitchen knife.
AEB-L stainless steel, heat treated to 61–63 HRC, is the right choice for a knife that will see real use. Its ultra-fine grain structure produces a keen, long-lasting edge that's also a pleasure to maintain. The satin-finished drop point profile offers a strong, controlled tip — perfect for the first cut while field dressing — and a curved belly with enough sweep to make skinning fast and efficient.
Every Little Canuck is handcrafted individually in Lishen's workshop, with fit and finish that routinely draws comparisons to makers charging twice the price. Pins are matched, gaps are nonexistent, and the leather belt sheath from the maker is as well-considered as the blade itself.
Whether this is your first Lishen or your fifth, the Little Canuck earns its place as the knife you carry hardest and trust most.
